Position Summary What you'll do About Walmart Energy Transformation Senior Manager II - Finance, Business Strategy & Planning is a critical role within the Energy Transformation Organization that will be responsible for designing , improving, and maintaining the Energy Transformation team's management reporting and business planning processes.
You will be a key member of the Business Strategy team that drives finance and operational activities of the Energy Transformation organization including forecasting & reporting, business planning, strategic assessments, project valuation, data analysis cross-functional coordination with technology and engineering partners, review of energy innovation opportunities, and works closely with the leadership team to set the s trategic direction for the organization.
The Walmart Energy Transformation team is a newly reimagined energy team that was created to ensure the team has the resources and internal positioning to deliver on Walmart's energy-related regenerative goals.
The team now reports directly to the COO of Walmart US and the Chief Sustainability Officer.
This new organization is responsible for :
Ensuring energy security and reliability through purchasing energy and optimizing for the lowest cost in regulated and wholesale markets.
Building value enhancing clean energy businesses around our unique asset base.
Meeting our renewable's goal of 100% renewables by 2030.
Increasing the energy efficiency and reducing emissions across our facilities, and Meeting our 2040 Zero Emissions goal, including transitioning our fleet to zero emissions vehicles.
We are a team of seasoned energy veterans dedicated to realizing Walmart's regenerative commitments and leveraging Walmart's platform to support the decarbonization of our customers, associates, communities and suppliers.

Manag ing complex control structures to mitigate risk of financial misstatement by examining and monitoring at different stages ; guiding cross-functional teams to develop new processes; ensuring proper controls are present in new and existing financial functions; and working to enhance reporting transparency of company financial systems.
Communicat ing with functional areas to understand significant variations; documenting and preparing results for presentation; and providing follow-up or answering any questions regarding financial issues.
Provid ing input for business decisions by producing complex financial models that incorporate assumptions, expectations, and known risks; preparing presentations and other supporting materials for recommendations; participating in business case presentations to senior and executive management; and communicating forecasts, assumptions, and variances to senior management.
Driv ing the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year's supervisory experience.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
